Meet the Team
Dr. Matt McCutcheon
Chiropractor
Dr. Matt graduated from Penn State in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. While he was there, he was a member of the varsity wrestling team for 5 years, where they won 4 Team National Championships. In his final year, he walked on the varsity baseball team. Upon graduation, Dr. Matt attended Life University in Marietta, GA where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and helped coach their wrestling team to an NAIA National Championship.
While in school, Dr. Matt watched his wife Kasey work with the pediatric community. From this, he was able to be inspired by the amazing changes in kids' lives at such a young age, which in turn creates a better future for them. Her passion and results sparked an interest for what Chiropractic and Occupational Therapy could accomplish together, as he has witnessed the incredible healing that takes place with pediatric adjustments. Dr. Matt has since geared his practice to not only treat athletes and adults, but to help kids reach their fullest potential starting from birth.
Since moving to Arizona, Dr. Matt has worked with the highest level of wrestlers at Arizona State University where he adjusts their professional athletes, as well as, works and travels with their Division 1 wrestling program.
"I know that our bodies were given an incredible healing power. Sometimes they need a little help to completely unleash it. We created Bridge Wellness Center to provide that help for everyone, so that you can live your life to its fullest potential. Whether you are a child, adult, or the highest level of athlete, we are here to serve you."
Kasey McCutcheon
Occupational Therapist
Kasey attended Penn State University (WE ARE!) to attain her bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology, where she was also a member of the track and field team. From there, she went to Nova Southeastern University to achieve her Master's of Occupational Therapy.
Throughout school and after graduation, Kasey gained experience in various settings from acute care hospitals, homeless shelters, inpatient rehab, schools, home health, and outpatient pediatric clinics. She fell in love with all that occupational therapy had to offer in each setting- helping individuals live life to their absolute fullest potential. Her pediatric experience includes methods such as TBRI (trauma-informed approach utilized with children in foster care, adopted children, at-risk youth, and children with special needs), DIR Floortime and Son-Rise (child-centered, relationship-based therapies), and Sensory Integration (registration, discrimination, processing, and integration of sensory information). As Kasey progressed with continuing education and her own spiritual growth, she became certified in holistic practices such as yoga, reiki, and trauma-informed care, and found that they not only held a place in her profession, they amplified all that OT can do. Eventually, Kasey co-created Bridge with Dr. Matt, to create a holistic wellness center that bridges the gaps in wellness- fully encompassing whole-body healing that aligns with their values, passions, and dreams.
"I whole-heartedly believe it is my divine purpose to be a pediatric occupational therapist. I believe that through connection, engagement, love, and alignment, children and teens can overcome the obstacles that are inhibiting them from participation in what is most meaningful in their lives. Utilizing the strengths of each individual child, instilling confidence within them, and empowering them to be exactly as they are is the key to progression in every area of their lives. Through play, leisure, and meaningful activities, we can bridge the gaps that are holding us back from living in true alignment. Therapy is FUN, and it is my absolute honor to serve you, your family, and this community. Let's get started!"
